Welcome to Ember Coding Lab, the friendly coding studio for kids ages 6-12 located in Rancho Peñasquitos, San Diego.

Owned and operated by an award-winning educator, Ember's mission is to inspire curiosity and a love of building.

Guided by VPs, kids learn programming fundamentals in a low 1:4 tutor ratio. Our curated video curriculum gives personalized time for the VP to inspire and mentor, not spend time giving instructions.

Coding "for good" with brownie troop 2120! The girls learned to write a script to collect their favorite objects in Roblox Studio. There were lollipops 🍭, puppies 🐕, a #sloth 🦥 and even a #pikachu. We also learned about one of the computer science heroes, Grace Hopper!

Meet Sebastian, Coder Instructor and Auto Enthusiast. He’s a 4th year at UCSD graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree, and he dreams of one day owning a tech-enabled auto shop. When he’s not building the Coder curriculum, Sebastian is staying up late, boxing and strength training.

“When I was a kid, I didn’t have access to something like Coder. Learning to code didn’t seem achievable. I want to give kids this opportunity.”
